How to care for your Farm Fresh Christmas Tree
Cut an inch off the base of your tree before placing it in a stand filled with warm water. Pick a stand that holds at least 4 liters, as the tree will keep drinking. Check the water level morning and afternoon to keep the trunk submerged—if it drops below the cut, the trunk will seal and stop absorbing, meaning you’ll need to make another 1-inch cut. Keep the tree away from sunny windows and heat to prevent drying. With good care, your real Christmas tree should last through the season. If you’re not setting it up right away, store it in a cool, shaded spot in a bucket of water. A tree preservative can help with water uptake and keeping needles fresh. Never use sand or soil. Tree stands and preservatives are available for purchase at our farm.
Since we can’t confirm if these care steps were followed, we’re unable to refund or replace your tree. Thanks for understanding.
