Our Story

Starting a Christmas tree farm was not something we would have ever dreamt of until my partner Anthony came home from work one day with the idea. His father Peter had always wanted Anthony to work and live on the farm, and we were looking for a new venture that would allow us to do just that, 'without running cattle'. So, in January 2022, we fenced off an area from the rest of the farm and planted our first 500 seedlings and began our journey as Christmas Tree farmers.

The Vision

The idea quickly developed from growing and selling Christmas trees, to something bigger, a Christmas Farm experience. Our vision was to create a Christmas Farm where families could come together and make memories. We wanted to create a place where families could select a beautiful Christmas Tree, enjoy a picnic, and meet our farm animals. With many more ideas on our to do list, our Christmas Farm will continue to grow. We're thrilled to share our vision with others and create a unique experience for all who visit our farm.

Our Goal

In early 2023, Anthony's father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and Dementia. Our family has witnessed the earlier stages of the disease and how truly horrible it is. It has been heartbreaking to watch a cattle farmer go from showing people how it's done, to now struggling with everyday farm tasks.

Our family participated in the Memory Run and Walk to raise funds for Dementia Australia, but we knew we could do more. We are teaming up with Dementia Australia to assist in raising essential funds for research and assistance programs across Australia. Hopefully one day finding a cure for this disease for future generations.

Lets create lasting memories!

We have now both left our jobs, and work and live full time on the farm, and yes you guessed it, we are also now learning cattle farming.

Thanks for reading, Wayne and Anthony.
